Georgia Russell

Georgia Russell is a Scottish artist who slashes, cuts and dissects printed matter, transforming books, music scores, maps, newspapers and photographs. Russell is represented by England & Co, and her four solo and numerous group exhibitions with the gallery have led to her work being acquired by The Victoria & Albert Museum and lent to exhibitions in museums in Europe, Canada and the USA. Russell featured in the England & Co exhibition, Persistent Obsessions, and a major solo exhibition of her recent work was held at the gallery in June 2009.

Russell was one of the artists exhibiting with England & Co at Zoo Art Fair in October 2009,  and was included in the England & Co exhibition The Map Is Not the Territory Revisited in November. She is also one of the two artists selected from England & Co for Slash: Paper Under the Knife currently at the Museum of Art & Design, New York.

These pages show some available works, together with selected works from her sold archive. Contact the gallery for information about prices, available works and commissions. More works will be added to these pages shortly.
