Wilma Johnson

Wilma Johnson was born in London in 1960. She studied painting at St Martin's School of Art from 1978-82. In 1980 she co-founded the Neo Naturist cabaret with Christine and Jennifer Binnie and Grayson Perry, and performed with them during the 1980s until she left for Mexico in 1987. She now lives and works on the French coast near Biarritz. In 2007, Johnson was included in two exhibitions: Secret Public - Last Days of the British Underground at the Kunstverein Mnchen, Germany, which was also held at the ICA, London; and The Neo Naturists at England & Co.

Johnson is currently featured in The Neo Naturists exhibition at Studio Voltaire, London.
