Behind a screened-off shop window, I perform a public 'broadcast' parallel to the game, which thousands watch live on TV monitors set up by local businesses all around the market square. On an overhead projector, I tick off – and convey to football fans outside – every single heartbeat I feel between the start and the final whistle.
