First performative experiment with collective cardiography at in the event of emergency, a residential live art event, Dilston Grove, London, 16/08/01.

Participants explore the ergonomic expediency of various “Ticker chains”, whereby they feel and tick off their neighbour’s pulse beat to generate collective audio-visual manifestations of people’s innermost rhythm. Occasionally, trance-like periods occur of what appears to be collective cardiac synchronicity. (See also numbers 27 and 37.)
