The seated participants, wearing elasticated 'drawing sandals' on their bare feet, have their hands free to feel their neighbours’ wrist pulse in an ergonomically perfect Ticker chain set-up that resembles a séance (including trance-like periods of synchronous heart beats). Their feet mark the beats on the paper-covered ground, creating a collective drawing composed of tick mark clusters. (See also number 25.)
