Jo TaylorJo Taylor is a British artist who studied at Edinburgh University and the Royal College of Art. Her text works are a celebration of the ritual patterns and complexity of the language we use in everyday life. In her Last Lines series she embroiders the final sentences of novels to explore the nature of last words and how the novelist says goodbye. Group exhibitions that have included her work include: Some Versions of Light, Telephone Repeater Station, North Yorkshire, 2004 (as part of the Arcola Collective); Hometime, a British Council commission, touring China, 2003-04; and Shrinking Cities: Reinventing Urbanism, Deutsches Architektur Zentrum, Berlin, 2005.
