Justin Almquist

American artist Justin Almquist was born in Minneapolis in 1976, received his BFA at Pratt Institute, New York in 1998 and his MFA at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich in 2010. He has lived and worked in Germany since 2003 and his work is represented in the permanent collections of the Staatliche Graphische Sammlung Munich; the Lenbachhaus Munich and the Pinakothek der Moderne Munich. An archive selection of some works exhibited in Justin Almquist, his first exhibition in London held at England & Co in 2014, are reproduced below. The exhibition was accompanied by a concurrent display of works on paper from 1966 - 2001, by the British artist Colin Self.
