N.H. (Tony) Stubbing

Newton Haydn Stubbing was a British artist whose main works range from the hand-print paintings he made in the 1950s and '60s, through to the luminous landscape-based paintings he made in the last part of his career.

Works by Stubbing from the 1950s and '60s were included in the England & Co exhibition Talking of Yves: Friendships and connections in Paris, New York and London (23 June-21 July 2010).
