Valerie Potter Valerie Potter was born in England in 1954. She says her drawings are 'like technical drawings of ideas and scientifically precise diagrams which represent the events of another world.' Among the characters of her obsessional inner narratives are gods, goddesses and a foetus. Her embroideries, using black or coloured thread, are another way of drawing for her. Potter's work has been included in several exhibitions of Outsider Art in Great Britain and Ireland. Works by Potter were included in England & Co's 2001 exhibition Obsessive Visions: Art Outside the Mainstream.
